Kate Winslet's baby son, born Dec. 7, is named Bear.

It's the Oscar winner's third child, but first with her third hubby, Ned Rocknroll.

The question is, who has the best unusual story name to tell -- baby or daddy?

Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll attended the Hong Kong International Races in 2012.

Bear's daddy was given the name Abel Smith at birth. He legally changed his name to Ned Rocknroll. But, no, this baby is not named Bear Rocknroll. Winslet gave her son her own surname, the actress's rep confirmed to E! News (good move, Kate!).

Winslet, 38, and Rocknroll, 35, married last December and announced their pregnancy in June. Bear's older siblings are Mia, 13, and Joe, 10, Winslet's children from her previous marriages. Find out more about Mr. Rocknroll, courtesy of E! News.

During a time when celebs are naming their babies North West (Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's little girl) and Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson (Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson's little girl), perhaps Bear isn't so unusual after all.

Did you know that actress Alicia Silverstone also has a son named Bear?

What do you think of the name Bear?
