Justin Timberlake kicked off the 2014 leg of "The 20/20 Experience" world tour by granting a wish for 27-year-old mega fan Amanda Renneberg.

Renneberg suffers from a debilitating neuro-muscular disorder called Freidreich's ataxia and Timberlake's music helps her stay positive.

She created a Facebook campaign to help her meet Timberlake, and her efforts got the superstar's attention. Timberlake personnaly called her to set up a meet and greet with him and his wife, Jessica Biel, before his Jan. 13 Edmonton, Alberta show.

It was so surreal to have my JT ringtone ring, and then it was him, Renneberg said in a statement.

She was accompanied by her boyfriend of 12 years to the show where she hung out with Timberlake and Biel backstage, watched the concert from Timberlake's mother's table (Lynn Harless), and snapped a one-of-a-kind picture with him before the night was over.

Friedreich's ataxia, which can have symptoms like loss of coordination, vision impairment, and aggressive scoliosis, has caused Renneberg to slowly lose the ability to walk and talk, but Renneberg didn't want her wheelchair in her picture.

I dont really like my wheelchair in pictures so much because its kind of a new thing to me, and I just wanted him to pick me up, Renneberg explained.

After the show, Rennberg said she cried (happily) herself to sleep.

Timberlake's tour will make two stops in Boston this year, the first on Feb. 27 and the second on July 19.
