L'Wren Scott, the longtime girlfriend of Rolling Stones' front man Mick Jagger, was found dead from an apparent suicide on Monday, law officials said.
The model and famed fashion designer, who had been dating Jagger since 2001, was reportedly discovered by her assistant hanging from a scarf inside her Manhattan apartment around 10 a.m.
There is no word yet as to whether or not she left behind a note.
According to a report by The Telegraph, a spokesperson for Jagger said that the singer is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news.

Scott made waves in the fashion world in 2006 when she launched her first collection called "Little Black Dress," which included her famed "Headmistress" dress worn by Madonna.
Other famous faces that have sported Scott's dresses include Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, and Amy Adams.
