Our Boston.com users recently had the pleasure to chat with former Apprentice contestants Ereka Vetrini and Katrina Campins. Here is the transcript.

Katrina Campins 01:01PM	Part of the reason I was booted because my heart was no longer in the game. I've always promised myself that once i've stopped being passionate about my profession it's time to quit.
Katrina Campins 01:02PM	I'm passionate about my field, real estate, and passion breeds success.

Ereka Vetrini 01:03PM	I think everyone at his level is to some extent an egomaniac. His ego is in some sense his branding.
hoagles 01:03PM	Katrina, were you really upset when Troy (I think) duped you with the apartment mission??
Katrina Campins 01:04PM	As I told the Donald let's clear this now and forever, I have been duped in my real life. It would be extremely arrogant of me to claim otherwise. However, Troy never duped me. I was never duped in this game. Unfortunately the viewers never got to see the real reason I was so upset.

gameday34 01:05PM	Hey ladies. Great job on the show. OK. so your in NYC for an extended period of time, trying to win this game. How did your employers (i'm assuming that you were employed before the show) allow you so much time off??
Ereka Vetrini 01:05PM	I quit my job.
Katrina Campins 01:07PM	I am an independent contractor, therefore I basically work for myself. I hired a full-time agent to take over for me while I was gone. I am currently still selling residential real estate, which is what I think I do best. www.katrinacampins.com

gameday34 01:07PM	Ereka, I see your a BC girl. You still keep ties with your alma mater? Also, what's your favorite stomping grounds while in town?
Ereka Vetrini 01:08PM	I most recently went back for my 5 year reunion. I had a blast. I'm not sure when you graduated, but the 5 year reunion is a must. My favorite stomping ground is of course the staple BC hangout The Kels, but I just visited The DeVille Lounge at Kings, and we'll be hanging out there again tonight.
kk 01:08PM	Katrina: When you say your heart was not longer in game.. what really changed it ?
Katrina Campins 01:09PM	The game became more about your ability to manipulate others rather than who was best qualified for the job. I don't manipulate clients, I persuade them. I was not willing to manipulate others on national television to win this game. It simply isn't me.

Ereka Vetrini 01:10PM	Absolutely! Obnoxious is NOT a strong enough word.

Ereka Vetrini 01:11PM	It is true! We will both be at the deVille Lounge at Kings tonight. It's going to be a blast, so you should stop by.
Promotion 01:11PM	Katrina, did you have the opportunity to review the comments made by Amy during your negotiation strategy at the dealership, was she right? Do you still feel that 'you've never been had.'? Thanks, Pro
Katrina Campins 01:15PM	Donald Trump taught us to think big. So I did. I immediately contacted the manager of the Chrysler dealership and negociated over the phone. He reassured me that he would give us a car, not the crossfire but a PT cruiser. Amy can't claim I used sex to sell because I was on the phone. Once we arrived she felt the need to negotiate over me and closed a $300 car-rental. I certainly do not know any high-rollers that will wait around a casino to see whether they've won a $300 car rental. I was actually speaking to the manager about his wife and kids, and Amy considered that flirting.

Ereka Vetrini 01:17PM	Yes, I have recieved tons of positive feedback from my friends. It seems that many of the BC grads have made quit an imprint on the reality TV world.

beantownchick 01:19PM	Ladies, were you ever intimidated by the things that you were required to do while on the show?
andrea 01:20PM	Katrina, I know you've probably heard this a thousand times, but, why as a real estate agent, give the most crucial job, renting the apartment, to Bill, a complete novice? Were you afraid of being targeted and kicked off for not making the sale?
Ereka Vetrini 01:21PM	Absolutely not. It wasn't so much the task itself that was intimidating, it was the timeframe in which we were given to complete tha task that made it seem impossible. For the most part, none of the 16 contestants were intimidated easily.
Katrina Campins 01:21PM	Real estate is my expertise. I negotiated a complete rennovation of our apartment for $1,500. That took up a large amount of time. Bill actually asked me to negotiate the lease. Bill is a well-established business man and frankly I thought he would be able to negotiate a measly lease. Also, as a leader one must delegate in order to be effective.

Ereka Vetrini 01:25PM	I'm currently maximizing on all of the opportunities that have been presented. The fortunate/unfortunate thing about the show is that we are being offered 'real life' job opportunities as well as proposals to persue a career in entertainment. I am currently dealing with several agents, and at the end of the show will decide wether I want to jump back into corporate America or persue a job in entertainment.

you'refired 01:28PM	with all the cat fighting that went on during the show, do either of you feel embarassed by your actions??
Katrina Campins 01:28PM	Playboy approached us for an undisclosed amount. However, Playboy contradicts everything I've worked so hard to prove in the business world. We did FHM because it's about confidence. Playboy is about nudity.
buce 01:29PM	Is Amy actually smart or has she just lucked out by being on winning teams?
Katrina Campins 01:33PM	Amy is a smart, beautiful woman. However, luck has definitely been on her side.
steino 01:36PM	How do you respond to critics of the show that say what takes place on The Apprentice is much more juvenile than inside the offices of a Fortune 500 company.
Katrina Campins 01:38PM	All 16 contestants are extremely successful. However, the viewer must remember this is television. The tasks were created to entertain the public. For instance, I don't do the running-man to sell million dollar properties. But it worked on television.

Murtz 01:43PM	Erika, how do you feel about the charges that the only reasons the females dominated the game so early was because of their overuse of sexuality and that once this became minimized... so did their stranglehold on the game?
Murtz 01:45PM	Katrina, do you feel that you were accurately represented or were made to be more of a television character for the cameras?
Katrina Campins 01:47PM	I was not willing to compromise my integrity in the boardroom in order to win this game. She was quick to take credit for the team's success but never took blame for her mistakes. I walked out of Trump tower wearing a full coat of armor, in stilettos of course, after that boardroom scene.
Ereka Vetrini 01:47PM	I think that the producers played into the stereotypes of women in business and they overshadowed a number of the intelligent moves the women made in order to win the tasks. For instance, remember that the women were able to negotiate lower prices for both the men's golf clubs and cigars (Bill's a cigar business owner) during the negotiation task. Also during the advertising task, although our ads may have been a bit sexual, they wer also out-of-the-box and creative, much like the ads that come out of Deutsche. I could go on and on...

chad 01:48PM	What did you do in NYC after you were booted off the show? and before the taping was done?
Ereka Vetrini 01:48PM	If my boyfriend doesn't step up in the next year, then yes!
Katrina Campins 01:50PM	We were all cast with certain objectives in mind. Unfortunately, my character on the show is very different than who I am in real life. The producers admit I was actually cast with a certain objective in mind and I turned out to be the complete opposite. I am one of the goofiest people on the show. All in all, I laugh about my portrayal.
Ereka Vetrini 01:50PM	After we were fired, we were sequestered at a local hotel and I felt like a trapped crazy person.
jame 01:51PM	When you ladies won the reward to take a private jet to Boston, what restaurant did you go to?
dstanco 01:52PM	Katrina - I saw your interview on The Today Show recently and you touched on how you felt the producers of the show used you as eye candy and was disapointed by that. Yet you showed up for the interview wearing a little dress flaunting what your momma gave you. It seemed very contradicting. You're obviously a very smart woman. But can you honestly say you don't use your looks in your business?

Katrina Campins 01:58PM	Most women feel the need to conform to a certain mold. What they don't realize is that they have a distinct advantage over any man if they are able to strike a delicate balance between femininity and respect. I wore Proneza Schouler, they are very well-respected designers in the fashion world, on the Today Show. Quite frankly, I didn't realize how revealing it would appear on television. In residential real estate, women are the primary decision makers. I can't be seen as a threat to them because I will not be successful. I turned down so much business from men with ulterior motives.

trump's comb over 01:58PM	Ereka, I feel that you were wrongly dismissed for protecting Katrina but later in the show Troy and Kwame attempted the same thing and succeeded. When you realized this were you angry?
Ereka Vetrini 01:59PM	Yes, I was very, very angry and I am SO glad that you noticed! Once again, there appears to be a bit of a double standard in Trump's board room.
CARPETBAGGAH 02:00PM	What's your reaction to the People Magazine story about Omarosa being fired/reassigned 4 times while at the white house and that her chief responsibility was opening the mail???

Katrina Campins 02:03PM	Omarosa claimed she went from the projects to the White House. She was simply a scheduling clerk and a bad one at that. She lasted all of two months.
