Celebrities flocked to the red carpet in New York on May 5 for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. The theme for the evening, "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy," was reflected in the colorful and adventurous ensembles that Hollywood's hottest donned for the evening.
