Here’s one for all the readers who decry our lack of depth and who hunger for deeper meaning…We’ve just learned the Dalai Lama will host two public talks on May 2 at Gillette Stadium. The spiritual leader and Nobel laureate plans to deliver two two-hour speeches; the first session will be a brief introduction to Tibetan Buddhism (The Four Noble Truths) and the second session is entitled “A Path to Peace and Happiness.” One ticket – prices range from about $37 to $118 – provides access to both talks. Tickets go on sale next Friday (March 6) through Ticketmaster, with proceeds benefiting the construction of a heritage center for the nonprofit Tibetan Association of Boston.

Now don’t say we never told ya’ll anything useful….

  1. here comes again this lama...the master of passive agressive and information manuplation. daliar lama, how about cater yourself to chinese audience for some meaningful dialouge, instead of always pleasing the west, or trying to divide the china and the west? or you probabl wouldn't, because the han chinese know the skeletons of your past, and the lies you would like to spread? And last, can I ask what have you done in the real term for tibetan people, besides of traveling around in the west for your celebrity.
