Looks like newlywed Tom Brady’s getting some more off-season work out in Cali. E! Online reports our QB will play himself in an upcoming episode of “Entourage.” He’ll film next week in LA, HBO told the site. “He will be playing himself at a celebrity golf tournament,” a publicist said.

Wonder if executive producer and Dorchester’s finest Mark Wahlberg had anything to do with this?

Above: another “Entourage” golf scene, with Jeremy Piven, Phil Mickelson, and Martin Landau. Think T.B. will wear an argyle sweater? Photo by Doug Hyun.

Or maybe he'll just drive the cart around...

  1. OH BOY!!!!! I can hear all the Brady basher's now. He's not into football, his new wife takes up to much of his time, she's wants him to be a movie star, ect, ect.
He's a pro, one of the best to play at the QB position, people need to realize he does have a personal life and should be left to enjoy it.

  1. Er, you realize that he isn't driving a golf cart in that photo, right?

  1. How much time does Peyton Manning spend doing all those mastercard commercials, oreo's, sprint, direct TV etc....Doesn't seem to have messed up his game any. Brady is a total PRO on the field and in the film room. People need to chill out and let the man live his life. You know some day number 12 is going to retire and all we will have are the memories of championships with one of the most competitive players I have ever see play the game.

  1. Honestly, is the sports world that dull that we have to follow this guy's every move? Who the hell cares? He's rich. He has rich friends. He lives a rich lifestyle. I'd be doing the same thing if I were in his position.

Get over it already and feature an actual sports story, not tabloid crap.

  1. Would you rather have him training pit-bulls( Michael Vick)....or riding a motorcycle, and crashing,..( Ben Roethlisberger)....or making as many commercials as humanly possible(Peyton Manning)...or showing up in the police blotter every other week(any Cincinnati Bengal)...??
He is the BEST quarterback in the league and has never been a public relations nightmare. Let him have his fun.

  1. Personally, I hope Brady does not get too caught up in "Celeb Life." I always credited him for not taking advantage of advertising. Yes, Live, Brady...but remember your roots and expectations in New England. We do love you.
