Time to check in with our favorite, minimally visible local celeb, Rob Corddry. Frankly, we haven't seen enough of the Weymouth native since his departure from "The Daily Show." Sure, he's popped up in films here and there, and we recently reported that he and his bro, Nate, will co-star in Sam Shepard's "True West" at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in July.

But where's the comedy, the vehicle that will launch Corddry into his rightful spot at the top of the B-plus list? Could it be "Hot Tub Time Machine," co-starring John Cusack and Craig Robinson of "The Office"? We can only hope.

The film, in which three buddies visit the ski lodge they frequented in their teens and time travel back to 1987 via hot tub, is set to be directed by Steve Pink, who wrote two of Cusack's best films, "Grosse Pointe Blank" and "High Fidelity." Shooting on the MGM flick is slated to start April 20 in Vancouver, according to Reuters.
