Keith Olbermann loves him some Ben Affleck

Did MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann throw a fit when Ben Affleck appeared on Rachel Maddow's show instead of his? That's the word, according to CityFile, which says Olbermann was furious when his MSNBC colleague booked Ben in April. Seems Olbermann, whom Ben impersonated on "SNL," wanted the actor all to himself. (Ben was doing press at the time for "State of Play.") Gawker's got the rundown, including the denial from Olbermann's peeps.

Wrong, wrong, wrong - see Keith on the 5/14 WTF segment of his show.
Irresponsible rumour mongering.
City file said a lot. All of it was paranoid crap and they guy who wrote it needs to get a life. I cannot even believe you repeated it. You should go showing in bleach because you are seriously dirty now
Wow. I must be getting old. I can remember when The Boston Globe was synonymous with "journalism," which involved "standards," "confirmation," and "credible sources." May I suggest, Mr. Shanahan and Ms. Goldstein, that you find a dictionary soon and familiarize yourselves with these concepts.
Please get your facts straight, before you run someone down.I' m sure a quick phone call to MSNBC would have cleared this up.
Why not read Keith Olberman's detailed response at dailykos?
He didn't throw a fit - his mother died.
Get it straight, you HACKS. There is absolutely ZERO evidence to this story. In fact, it has been refuted by EVERYONE involved in the story. That is, except the panty-waste who manufactured the story and the IRRESPONSIBLE hacks at Boston Globe who continue to "specualte".
Oops...your bias is showing. Again.
the story is true, you koolaid drinkers just can't handle it.
Love how the liberal loons get all bent out of shape when their own tactics are used against them.Olbermann deserves a dose of his own medicine.
Keith had a lot to do with Rachel getting a show on MSNBC and has done everything to support Rachel's show. She got exposure as Keith's guest host when he would be off.
