Actor DaJuan Johnson will be at the Museum of Fine Arts tomorrow night for the LGBT Film Festival screening of "Pedro," the movie based on MTV reality star Pedro Zamora, who died of AIDS in 1994. "Pedro" has been getting film festival buzz, mainly because it was written by Dustin Lance Black, who recently won an Oscar for "Milk."

The Miami-bred Johnson, who plays Pedro's partner Sean in the film, should look familiar. He's had small parts on a number of television shows, including "Scrubs," "Private Practice," "CSI," "Criminal Minds," and his favorite, "24." "That was my dream," Johnson said, of his recent brush with Jack Bauer. "I've followed it from the beginning, all six seasons," he said. "It's stuff blowing up, gun fire ... it was pretty intense."

After Johnson answers questions at tomorrow's "Pedro" event, he'll stay in Boston for a three-day weekend. He's never been here before and told us he has tickets for "some sort of duck tour." We've heard of that.

More on the screening here. Read a review here.
