McCartney to play Fenway
We're told Paul McCartney will indeed perform at Fenway Park Aug. 5 and 6, and an official announcement could come tomorrow. Mayor Tom Menino's Office of Consumer Affairs and Licensing held a public hearing Monday night, and director Patricia Malone is expected to have something to say about the shows today. The former Beatle has already announced plans to gig at Citi Field in New York July 17, 18, and 19, and FedEx Field in D.C. Aug 1.
