Why was Brooke Shields spotted at the InterContinental Boston on Wednesday? Probably, because she has a job here in the Hub.

We hear the actress took a red-eye flight to Boston straight from the Michael Jackson memorial service to get working on the family comedy “Furry Vengeance,” which co-stars Brendan Fraser, Dick Van Dyke, Ken Jeong, and Samantha Bee. The movie is about a real estate guy whose proposed development threatens a pack of feisty animals.

According to IMDB, the movie will also star Matt Prokop, of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year." Feel free to swoon.

  1. I watched the entire memorial service for Michael Jackson. I thought it was a beautiful service, and although I loved the musical segments of the service, I thought Brooke Shields' eulogy was the most poignant, heart-felt part of the entire service. She truly knew Michael as a FRIEND. I know there are doubters out there; people who call M.J. a pedophile, etc. To those critics I say, "Where's the evidence?" Simply because he was ACCUSED of something does not automatically make him guilty. I believe he was guilty of being naive. People went after him, and made wild accusations, because they wanted to extort money from him. Yes, he admitted to Martin Bashir that he thought it was o.k. to have kids sleep in his bed. His admission to Mr. Bashir was not that of a pedophile but rather a guy who was so naive that he "admitted" it on tape. I hope people judging him based SOLEY on ACCUSATIONS will never be accused of something of which they are not guilty. Only then will they know what it's like to be unjustly accused. Lastly, even Mr. Bashir said that while "Jackson 's behaviour was unorthodox, he did not believe it was criminal." He also referred to M.J. as "probably the greatest entertainer the world has ever known."

  1. Hello-
I have been searching on the internet to find Dick Vandyke and saw this article.
Dick and my dad, Albert Weckle, were friends in the Air Force years ago and I'm hoping to re-unite them as a surprise for my Dad. If anyone knows how I can get ahold of Dick, I would greatly appreciate any information you can give me.
