It took awhile, but a wedding photo of Sox owner John Henry and new bride Linda Pizzuti was finally released today, one week after the couple was married on board Henry's boat. (The reception was held at Fenway, which generated a bit of a kerfuffle.) The photo was snapped by Genevieve de Manio.

  1. Wow! Stunning! Beautiful bride, great looking couple. Wish I could see the rest of the dress. Loved hearing about their trip to South Africa. Cheers to them, and happy fourth to all

  1. Two years tops before she divorces and cashes in. That Boston Magazine article made it so clear she was in it for the money.

  1. Best wishes to this gorgeous and lucky couple. It's a lovely photo, but what is the deal with his glasses? Are they crooked, or is his face? Like I should complain! I'd kill to be as beautiful as she is, and right now I'd pretty much take any guy who is really a guy.

  1. How vapid are these people?

  1. Whats up with that girl? When is her real name going to come out. Linda "Anna Nicole Smith" Pizzuti.

  1. Shouldn't they be looking at each other in love, instead of away at different places?

However, her bouquet and gown and beautiful.

  1. If you didn't know who John Henry was... you may think that this is a great picture of a proud father of the bride.

  1. The flowers were beautiful. I wonder who did them?

  1. Enough already! You would think that this was the celebrity wedding of the century with how much coverage you have given it. Photos, stories, more photos...enough! Yes, he helped bring a couple of championships to the city, but could we give it a rest? Please?

  1. She's beautiful, but he just looks too old for her. I KNOW it's not always about looks, but would she REALLY have been interested in him if it wasn't for all his $$'s? Saying that I'm not saying that she JUST went for the money, what I'm saying is that the $$'s must've helped.

I myself am 38, and there's no way I would go for anyone that much older, no matter how loaded he - but hey, that's just my opinion. Best of luck to them, and I hope it lasts more than just a couple of years.

  1. Like the sound of a dream.

    The splendour
    of the laughing
    clouds appears
    in the calm
    of a quietness,
    with delicate
    breaths and a
    restless seaside.

  1. Good grief. Enough already with this bloomin' wedding. By the way, does John Henry look like Dana Carvey or what?

Posted by Rudderman July 4, 09 05:08 PM
  1. That was awfully nice of him to walk the bride down the aisle. Her father must not have been available.

Posted by Sean July 4, 09 05:09 PM
  1. Sick
Looks like a father and her bride daughter
I predict this marriage to last less than one year after the bride realizes they have NOTHING in common and she is NOT attracted to him

  1. Do we really have to hear about this wedding seven days a week? Must there be a prominent photo and link on Boston.com, (yes I know you own 17%), day after day after day?

It's taking away from the round-the-clock Micheal Jackson coverage.

Posted by Heyduke July 4, 09 05:34 PM
  1. I'm sure Mr. Henry is an exceptional fellow but a 60 year old and a 30 year old
    look pretty ridiculous together.

  1. Thank God! While we are at war and remember our founding fathers, let us take a moment and honor John Henry and His bride. Thank You so much for providing this. Our heatlhcare and economy are in the tank but at least we have this.
So while some mourn this is released today of all days!
This was drivel when it happened it is moreso now. What did this douchbag pay to have this in your paper.

  1. congratulations to the newlyweds but enough already. no one but your editor cares. i thought boston.com jumped the shark with the clark rockefeller coverage but this is pathetic. this gets the site's most prominent real estate? how about doing the public a favor and publishing photos of the jakes who are scamming the taxpayers by taking early retirement last week so they don't miss out on their loophole. this fluff loses eyeballs.

  1. I usually don't "comment" on things like this but I had to. All these comments are so immature and judgmental.
First of all I have met Mr. Henry only once. I have met his former wife, Peggy several times. I saw them at the hospital when Peggy had given birth to their beautiful daughter.
I don't know what prompted the divorce, the "story" but I am sad for them as a family. However, it is a slice of life it seems in this country and considering I am on my third and final marriage, who am I to hold any type of comment to any of them. I wish the best to all of them-LIFE is not so easy sometimes.
