JoJo came this close to putting her singing career on hold and enrolling at Northeastern. In an interview with Rap-Up TV, the 19-year-old Foxborough native says she was so frustrated with the music business that she almost walked away. "I was so broken down and upset about some things that were going on that I was going to go to school and take four years, and maybe try to do it again after (college)," said the singer, who's in LA now working on her third CD. "But my heart wasn't fully satisfied with that, and I said, 'Can I live with myself for four years knowing that I could be pursuing my dream and making music and really giving this the shot it deserves?' And the answer was no." JoJo is working with Timbaland, whom she calls a "genius," and says she hopes to record with Pharrell. But judging from her tweets, JoJo's current fave is John Mayer. The other day, she posted the pic of Mayer on the cover of Details. "Ooooooh la laaa!!!!" she wrote.
