Simmons lands Bassett for Leadership Conference

bassett.jpgAs always, Simmons has a slew of serious women signed up to speak at its annual Leadership Conference. Focused on "The Spirit of Resilience,” the April 30 conference will feature actress Angela Bassett, Daily Beast editor Tina Brown, actress Mia Farrow, and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Sheryl WuDunn. The conference's executive director Joyce Kolligian said yesterday, “this year’s extraordinary speakers personify the resilience needed to excel in these challenging times." The conference Seaport World Trade Center Boston, now in its 31st year, attracts an audience of 2,000 business and professional women. The event will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center Boston.
