Brady and Bundchen building a fancy fortress in LA

Photos have surfaced of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's sprawling, still-under-construction LA mansion, and it's clear the couple will not be hurting for space, regardless of how many children they might have. (The aerial shots, taken by shutterbug Alec Byrne, first appeared Saturday in the Daily News of New York.) The 22,000-square-foot house, which includes a covered bridge, six-car garage, and a lagoon-shaped swimming pool, is being built by Boston-based Suffolk Construction, whose CEO John Fish is a good buddy of Brady's. The price tag on the palatial, 8-bedroom home, which dwarfs Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's nearby house, is estimated at $20 million. Of course, that's in addition to the $11 million Brady and Bundchen paid for the 3.75-acre property, which is in the exclusive Brentwood section of LA. Wondering how such an ostentatious spread squares with Gisele's role as a United Nations goodwill ambassador for the environment? We are, too. Brady also owns a condo on Beacon Street, which had been for sale for $10.9 million, but was recently taken off the market.
