| Contest rules CONTEST RULES: No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years or older to enter. One entry per person. Duplicate entries will be discarded. Entries must be received by May 1 by 5:00PM EST. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. One winner will be selected at random on May 29th from the entries received. If winner is unable to use prize, no alternative prize will be offered. Approximate retail value of prize is $19,500. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Trip includes 4 air tickets and 4nights/5days at any Beaches Resort (Trip is valid in any Beaches Resorts which include: Jamaica or Turks & Caicos). Trip is valid only for two adults and 2 children under 15. Entries are also accepted via mail; "Over the Hedge" contest, the Boston Globe, PO Box 55819, Boston MA 02205-5819. Entries must be postmarked by May 1st. The Globe is not responsible for lost, delayed lost, stolen or illegible entries. Employees of The Boston Globe and its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate families and members of their households are not eligible. Prize winner may be required to execute affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, granting permission to use winner's name, photograph or other likeness for the purposes of advertising, trade and promotion on behalf of The Boston Globe without further compensation. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Beaches Resorts Rules and Regulations Trip accommodations include all meals, including gourmet specialty dining, unlimited premium brand drinks, nightly entertainment, all land and water sports, including scuba diving, snorkeling, gratuity, and transfers to and from the airport. Telephone calls, spa treatments, tours, inter-island transportation, island departure taxes (approx. $27.00 per person) and purchases made at the Beaches Specialty Shops are not included. Prizes are subject for travel for one year from the promotion end date and are not transferable nor are they redeemable for cash. No extension will be given after the trip has expired. A processing fee of $25.00 per room, per night will apply to prize certificates. It is the responsibility of DreamWorks SKG to disclose either verbally or in writing to the winner that this processing fee applies. Payment by either credit card or check is to be made upon receiving hotel confirmation, or the reservation will be cancelled. Please note: This trip is subject to space availability and selected blackout dates. It is the responsibility of DreamWorks SKG to inform the prizewinner that reservations may not be made until 30 days prior to travel. A certificate outlining the terms of the prize and redemption procedures will be provided to the winner at the conclusion of the promotion and upon receipt of support collateral materials (i.e. TV spot, radio spots, print promotional materials, etc.) Please note that a prize certificate will not be issued until all proof of promotion has been received. Winner must be at least 18 years of age. Confirmation of travel dates will only be provided 30 days prior to the departure date. The trip is to be used for purposes indicated above and for promotional consideration as outlined. Any changes to this agreement will render it null and void. Beaches Resorts reserves the right to relocate any confirmed prizewinner from their hotel of choice to an alternate resort within our chain based upon availability of space for the secured travel dates. |
