The view of Boston’s skyline from Robbins Farm Park on Thursday evening will include the 40th annual Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular in honor of July Fourth. The town’s annual free Independence Day celebration at the park will begin at 6 p.m., and will feature musical entertainment and refreshments. The performance by the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Hatch Shell and the fireworks, to begin around 10:30 p.m., will be simulcast on a giant screen at the park.
