Studio furniture isn't sold at chain stores (like the one that gave free merchandise when the Red Sox won the World Series). These specialty pieces combine art with furniture making and are turned out one at a time or in small batches. The furniture is usually available at galleries, shows, or through the maker. The Fuller Craft Museum exhibit "New/Now: 10 Makers for the New Millennium" showcases pieces by 10 emerging studio furniture artists from across the country. Featured are cabinets, tables, footstools, and chairs by Yoav Liberman, Yuri Kobayashi, and others. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Wed. until 9 p.m. (through Jan. 6) $8, $5 for students and seniors, free under 12 and for everyone Wed. 5-9 p.m. Fuller Craft Museum, 455 Oak St., Brockton. 508-588-6000. fullercraft.org
