For the 27th year running, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts is setting out paintings, drawings, prints, photos, jewelry, and ceramics - nearly 5,000 items in all (including Sakakini/Burkhardt's "Arrival at Aleppo," left) for what has grown into New England's largest public art sale. World-renown alumni including Jim Dine, Ellsworth Kelly, and Mike and Doug Starn will be represented along with roughly 750 SMFA students, faculty members, alumni, and affiliated artists. Proceeds benefit the artists and SMFA student scholarships - all the more reason to forgo ![]()
