Pop

Truly, madly, solo

Email|Print| Text size + By Meredith Goldstein
Globe Staff / December 7, 2007

You probably remember Darren Hayes as the singer from the Australian pop duo Savage Garden, which got big in the late 1990s with the singles "I Want You" and "Truly, Madly, Deeply." For years now, Hayes has been living in the US and recording solo records. His most recent is "This Delicate Thing We've Made," a two-disc collection of songs about Hayes's relationship with his family and what it was like to end his marriage and come out of the closet. Heavy stuff, but the album has some light tunes for dancing. This afternoon, Hayes is at the Borders in Burlington to sing and sign. 1 p.m. Free. Borders, 6 Wayside Rd., Burlington, 781-221-2188. bordersstores.com
