Food for thoughtful jewelry

Silversmith Beth Falk named her business Stone Soup Jewelry after the folk tale of the same name. The Littleton resident explained that "creativity and quick thinking help us find something wonderful hidden in the most ordinary places." The wonderful pieces we like are from her Epicurean Collection of sterling silver hand-cut pendants including a whisk, chile pepper, garlic clove, coffee cup, and cupcake. The black woven satin-finished cord has a sterling lobster clasp (another food reference) and each piece comes with a recipe card related to the pendant's design - if you order the Cupcake Pendant you'll get a recipe for citrus cupcakes. Orders placed by Friday will arrive before Christmas. $45. 978-501-3142. stonesoupjewelry.com
