Globe Staff / December 12, 2007

There's a forum at the Brattle Theatre tonight that should interest parents and educators (and those who profit from technology). The MacArthur Foundation, which is studying the role of technology in the lives of children, will host a discussion called "Totally Wired: How Technology Is Changing Kids and Learning." Panelists are Katie Salen of the Parsons School of Design; Howard Gardner of the Harvard Graduate School of Education; and Henry Jenkins, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor who wrote a book called "Convergence Culture" that has a big white iPod on the cover. 5:30. Free. Brattle Theatre, 40 Brattle St., Cambridge, 617-876-6837. brattlefilm.org
