Actors play dress up when they're in a film, and when vintage clothing is called for, costume folks often make a 617 call. They're calling Bobby From Boston to buy men's and women's '60s and older vintage clothing and shoes. Owner Bobby Garnett's South End store has been around for more than 10 years, and you can see some of his awesome apparel in "Hairspray," "A Beautiful Mind," and "The Departed." Popular items include men's vests, leather jackets, mailbags, and striped college scarves from London. The store now offers gift certificates, so maybe your honey can dress up like John Travolta or Matt Damon. Mon-Sat noon-6 p.m. Items start at $10. Bobby From Boston, 19 Thayer St., Boston. 617-423-9299.
