In the trenches

You know you're in for fun when cast members are listed as "Trenchcoat Chorus." In Christopher Durang's "Adrift in Macao," the year is 1952, the location is the Far East, and the show is a farcical, tongue-in-cheek, campy mockery of film noir. The score is by Peter Melnick, grandson of composer Richard Rodgers, and the cast includes Aimee Doherty, Kathy St. George, Austin Ku, and Neal Richard Lee (a member of the aforementioned chorus). So, wear your trench coat, cock your head to one side, and slither into the Lyric Stage Company of Boston production. Today at 2 and 7:30 p.m. (through Feb. 2). $29-$54, $5 student and senior discount. Lyric Stage Company, 140 Clarendon St., Boston. 617-585-5678. lyricstage.com
