Clinton, Obama, McCain, and Huckabee aren't the only candidates. Kiki, Cleopatra, Rana, and others are running for "President" of the Franklin Park Zoo and promoting their platforms at "PreZOOdential Election Week." Kiki is a Western lowland gorilla running for reelection in support of enrichment for zoo animals. Cleo, an African pygmy hippo, backs habitat conservation. A red-eyed tree frog named Rana is concerned about the amphibian crisis. These are tough issues: Visitors can learn more, make campaign signs, and vote for their favorite candidates. The winner will be announced Saturday at the noon inauguration party (or check online). 11 a.m.-3 p.m. (through Friday). $11, $9.50 seniors, $6 ages 2-12. Franklin Park Zoo, 1 Franklin Park Road, Boston. 617-541-5466. franklinparkzoo.org
