March 18, 2008

For Gallery XIV's "The Canvasation Project," artists worked side-by-side on one canvas to create a collaborative painting. Tonight, you can see the 12 pieces that have come out of this process, as well as videos of the paintings being created, during a salon-style discussion with Barbara O'Brien, director of the Trustman Art Gallery at Simmons College, and Leonie Bradbury, director of Montserrat College of Art Galleries. 6-9 p.m. Free. Gallery XIV Boston, 37 Thayer St. (at 450 Harrison Ave.), Boston. 617-482-1414. galleryxiv.com
