April 12, 2008

There's so much stuff to buy at Boston Antiques Weekend that you could wind up with a vintage outfit, a chair to sit in while you wear it, and a book to read while you sit there. The Boston Antiques Show, Boston Antiquarian Book & Ephemera Fair, and Boston Antique Textile & Vintage Fashion Show are teaming up to present 250 dealers. Melody Fortier of Tangerine Boutique in Gardner is bringing, among other items, a 1950s semi-formal white tulle gown ($165) and a hand-printed vintage necktie with a pine cone design ($32). 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Sun until 5 p.m.). $12, $17 for a two-day pass, free for kids under 13. Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Blvd., Boston. 781-862-4039. bostonantiquesweekend.com
