The ins and outs of technology

Email|Print|Single Page| Text size + By June Wulff
Globe Staff / May 27, 2008

Technology changes faster than gas prices, and the Science Discovery Museum in Acton invites kids to roll up their sleeves and dig into some old innovations at "Take Aparts: The More Things Change." Visitors age 6 and older will disassemble telephones (think they've ever even heard of a rotary phone?), VCRs, computers, and routers - all in the name of interactive discovery. Just be sure to explain to your young engineers that they should check with you before they go home and take apart the microwave. 2:30-4:30 p.m. $9. The Discovery Museums, 177 Main St., Acton (Route 27). 978-264-4200. discoverymuseums.org
