June 24, 2008

If your brain is already melting thanks to summer vacation, you can get it working again at the Wellesley Booksmith's lunchtime book club run by Betty Sudarsky, who has a literature degree from Smith College and has worked for several publishing companies (meaning, she's wicked smart). Today, her book club will discuss "Mister Pip," a novel by Lloyd Jones with a Dickens subtext. The club welcomes all, even if you haven't read the book. Just bring your own lunch. RSVP recommended. Noon. Wellesley Booksmith, 82 Central St, Wellesley. 781-431-1160. wellesleybooksmith.com
