Before the North End became a restaurant mecca - and a great place to buy marzipan - it was a mecca for Irish, Jewish, and Italian immigrants. It was also where Paul Revere had his silversmith shop and foundry. Folks from the Paul Revere House can tell you a lot more about Revere, and the neighborhood, during their Walking Tours of Boston's North End. A guide will lead you through alleyways and twisting streets to the Fisherman's Club (the approximate site of Revere's shop), the Old North Church, Copps Hill Burying Ground, and other sites. 2:30-3:30 p.m., rain or shine (through Thursday ). $5, $4.50 seniors and college students, $1.50 ages 5-17. Meet at the Paul Revere House, 19 North Square, Boston. 617-523-2338. paulreverehouse.org
