Our turned-in ankles would have trouble taking us onto the podium to collect a medal, let alone holding us up on ice skates, but the skaters at An Evening With Champions have no such trouble. Performers at the Jimmy Fund benefit will include 2008 World Junior Champion Adam Rippon and 1964 and '68 Olympic gold medalists Ludmilla and Oleg Protopopov. The Haydenettes will show you why they've been named National Synchronized Skating Champions 17 times, and Olympic silver medalist (1992) and Harvard grad Paul Wylie (left) will host at the Harvard-run event. 8 p.m. (Sat at 7 p.m.). $32, $12 for ages 12 and under, $8 for college undergrads. Harvard's Bright Hockey Center, 79 North Harvard St., Allston. 617-496-2222. www.jimmyfund.org/skating
