Gloria Steinem is the guest speaker at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library on Sunday. She'll speak with Boston College professor Alan Wolfe and Princeton University professor Sean Wilentz about "The Role of the Public Intellectual." We have a hunch that she'll also take a few moments to talk about a certain vice presidential candidate. Registration recommended. 1:30 to 3 p.m. John F. Kennedy Library, Columbia Point, 617-514-1643. www.jfklibrary.org
