Another Monday-is-a-holiday event takes place at the Fireplace restaurant tomorrow night. The Political Hot Air Competition will have customers standing at a podium for one minute each and giving their best political rant. There will be judges, prizes, and election-themed cocktails. We recommend dropping the word "maverick" as often as possible. It seems to work. 8:30 p.m. Free.
