In honor of Veterans Day, United States veterans and active military personnel receive free admission today to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. And everyone can enjoy today's free lecture by Dr. Jonathan Shay at "The Trials of Homecoming." (Kennedy pictured above.) The MacArthur fellow and psychiatrist will talk about how he uses battle descriptions from Homer's "Iliad" and "Odyssey" to treat combat trauma. Shay will be joined by former Army Captain James Meeks. Christopher Lydon will moderate. 1:30-3 p.m. Free. Reservations are recommended (museum hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and admission is $10, $8 seniors and college students, $7 ages 13-17). Museum at the John F.
