The Museum of Fine Arts is a fine place to be for the next few days when "MFA for the Holidays" opens its galleries for music, exhibits, and more. Feast your eyes (just your eyes, please) on a large gingerbread replica of the MFA created by culinary students from North Shore Community College. The Boston Children's Chorus (below) will perform seasonal tunes in the Lower Rotunda tonight at 5:30, and more music and merriment are planned through Sunday. Today from 10 a.m.-9:45 p.m. (Through Dec. 7). Today is free starting at 4 p.m., including "Art and Empire: Treasures From Assyria in the British Museum." Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. 617-267-9300. www.mfa.org
