Happening at the zoo

Su Eaton spends a lot of time at the Franklin Park Zoo, and the children's entertainer invites youngsters to join her singalongs in the Hippo Theater every Saturday in January and March (11 a.m.-noon). Through February, say hi to Chloe, the zoo's costumed giraffe mascot, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. every Saturday. Daily zookeeper activities include Bird's World and Scrubland at 11 a.m., the Tropical Forest at 2 p.m., and the Franklin Farm Barn at 3 p.m. Today's hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free with admission of $12, $10 for seniors, $7 for ages 2-12, half-price on the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m.-noon.
