For more than 20 years, Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys have been serving up traditional and modern Cajun music. Frontman Riley has admitted to being a “ham,’’ and started hamming it up as a child at family gatherings. He learned to sing Cajun songs and play the triangle from his grandparents, so bring your family to the outing, along with low lawn chairs and blankets. 7:30 p.m., rain or shine (courtyard opens at 6 p.m.). $28, $24 students and seniors. Museum of Fine Arts Calderwood Courtyard, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. 617-369-3306. www.mfa.org
