Have you climbed your family tree? Perhaps you have a famous - or infamous - relative. Find out how to fill in the branches at tomorrow’s Introduction to Genealogy Workshop, where a staff member will show beginners how to get started using census, naturalization, and passenger arrival records. After the workshop, you are invited to use the resources of the National Archives to track down your rich relatives. Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. (archive tour at 1:15 p.m.). Free (call to register). The National Archives and Records Administration, 380 Trapelo Road, Waltham. 781-663-0121. www.archives.gov/northeast

Because events can always be canceled or sold out, it’s best to call to confirm. Send event information two weeks in advance to jwulff@globe.com (please include event date in the subject line).
