A Knock at the Door: Three Centuries of Governmental Search and Seizure, presented by the Bostonian Society, is a discussion by public historian J.L. Bell and legal scholars Frederick Lane, Joseph McEttrick, and Kurt Opsahl. The panelists will talk about the amendment’s historical origins plus the modern challenges of wiretapping, immigration raids, and school drug searches. 6:30 p.m. Free.
