Olive oil (for sprinkling)
2 pounds jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups fresh white breadcrumbs
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1. Set the oven at 350 degrees. Have on hand a 10-inch glass pie plate. Oil it lightly.
2. In a bowl, combine the shrimp and mayonnaise. Stir gently to coat each shrimp.
3. Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl. Coat each shrimp in the breadcrumbs. Place the shrimp in concentric circles in the pie plate. If the shrimp do not fit in one layer, make a second layer on top, placing the shrimp randomly.
4. Sprinkle with butter. Bake the shrimp for 25 minutes or until they are cooked through.![]()
