Thanksgiving traditions are usually well established from family to family. Sometimes a renegade cook from the second generation will make something that no one's seen or heard of, but mostly the dishes -- or at least the ingredients -- are fairly predictable. Keeping with three of the classic foodstuffs -- cornbread, squash, and pecans -- we worked on some variations for presenting them and came up with a cornbread stuffing with pomegranate seeds, a dish of baked acorn squash slices, and a thick, chocolate-laden pecan pie.
