The best place to dine on fish is with the fisherman, where you're guaranteed the freshest catch. For a classic New England chowder (not that gooey version with one clam in a sea of potatoes), go to No Name Restaurant. The seafood chowder (above) has been a staple in the city for years. It's an inexpensive bowl ($4.85) or cup ($2.85) overflowing with a medley of white fish and clams that melt in your mouth. There are no potatoes in this milk-based broth -- just loads of seafood topped with a pinch of paprika. A touch of salt is all that's needed to make this bowl one of the truest in the land of chowders.
