As a 21-year-old senior in college, Medford native Kristin Powers has had her fair share of beer. Except for a few times timidly sipping chardonnay during family get-togethers as a teenager, Powers never had wine with meals -- especially when many of her peers were imbibing beer after a perilous week of labs, lectures, and exams.
