Sesame salt

Makes about 2 tablespoons

2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1.In a small skillet on medium-low heat, gently shake the sesame seeds back and forth until they begin to pop and become light brown. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.

2. In a food processor, combine the sesame seeds and salt. Pulse about 6 times or until the sesame seeds are crushed.

Note: Store in an airtight container. Use leftover sesame seeds sprinkled on steamed vegetables and green salads.
