Glenn Quirion first decorated a cake when he was 12 and his mother ran an at-home cake company in Augusta, Maine. One day she left a cake unfinished and came home to find if fully frosted, flowers and all. "I just picked [cake decorating] up by watching her do it all the time," says Quirion.
