|4||sweet or hot Italian chicken or turkey sausages (3 to 4 ounces each)|
|1||tablespoon vegetable oil|
|1||pound prepared pizza dough (thawed, if necessary)|
|Flour (for sprinkling)|
2. Roast the sausages for 30 minutes, turning several times, or until they are cooked through; cool. Leave the oven on.
3. On a lightly floured counter, roll the dough to a 1/8-inch thickness, letting the dough rest if it's too stretchy to roll. Cut the rectangle into quarters. Set a sausage on each piece and pick up the edges of the dough. Fold them over the tops of the sausages. Pinch the seams to seal them.
4. Bake the sausages for 30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown. Serve with mustard. Sheryl Julian
