Haroset with dates

Makes 2 cups

1 cup (well packed) pitted dates
1/2 cup golden raisins
1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup sweet Passover wine
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the dates, raisins, apple, and water. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 6 minutes or until the fruit softens; cool.

2. In a food processor, pulse the fruit until the mixture is chopped into small bits, but doesn't turn into puree.

3. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in the walnuts, cinnamon, and wine.
