Serves 4
| 2 | cups very hot tap water |
| 1/3 | section of string cheese braid |
| 1 | ripe avocado, peeled and cut into cubes |
| 1 | medium ripe tomato, cut into cubes |
| 2 | tablespoons olive oil |
| Salt and pepper, to taste | |
| 4 | pita rounds, each torn into 3-inch pieces |
2. In a medium bowl, combine the avocado, tomatoes, and cut-up cheese. Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss lightly with a fork. Serve with pita. Adapted from Omar Awartani
