Guacamole
Makes about 2 cups
| 2 | ripe avocados |
| 1 | small plum tomato, finely chopped |
| 2 | tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice |
| 1 | small jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped |
| 4 | sprigs fresh cilantro, stems finely chopped, leaves coarsely chopped |
| 1/2 | teaspoon hot sauce |
| 1/2 | teaspoon salt |
| Black pepper, to taste |
2. Add the tomato, lemon or lime juice, jalapeno, cilantro, hot sauce, salt, and a little black pepper. Serve with chips. Adapted from Kathy Maister ![]()
